Senior Administrator / Assistant Manager - CDD
Job description
Role summary:
Provide Customer Due Diligence Support for the Private Equity Team.
Reporting to Assistant Manager, Manager and Associate Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide supporting KYC support in connection with the effective closing of fund structures for Private Equity Funds;
- Support the client service teams who are closing funds by, liaising with investors to collate the requisite KYC documents;
- Being a point of contact within the team between compliance and the CDD Operations team to assist with timely and accurate records being established;
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed and checklists completed in a timely manner;
- Promote a risk management culture within the business by proactively highlighting areas where improvements can be made to reduce operation risk;
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Jersey and Sanne AML requirements and ensure at all times these are being adhered to, with the support of compliance and the senior management;
- Assist with the supervision of junior team members work loads and their adherence to policies and procedures;
- Help facilitate accurate time keeping, billing and settlement of debt within the team;
- Proactively raise issues with senior management and encourage a solution driven environment;
- Effectively use the tasks facility to manage upcoming events;
- Reinforce positively throughout the team management messages and changes in working practice;
- Delegate work where appropriate to other team members and other support functions within the business;
- Contribute constructively to team meetings.
Requirements
Skills / experience required:
- Qualified or studying towards a professional qualification such as ICSA or ACCA or equivalent;
- A minimum of 3 years trust or funds experience in a professional environment;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Knowledge of local regulatory environment.
