Data Migration Specialist

Role summary:

We are seeking a Specialist, reporting to a Senior Manager within the Business Implementation team of Sanne, to working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to migrate existing funds and implement new funds onto the Sanne platform. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for working with systems, be able to work towards tight deadlines, interact with all stakeholders and review implementation processes.

Key responsibilities:

Second level

  • Migration of existing clients to the Frontinvest platform;
  • Working with accounting/client service data received from internal teams to secure ongoing client satisfaction;
  • Upskill on AllVue knowledge and how to utilize the platform;
  • Migration of existing clients to the AllVue platform;
  • Review data and files received from client services teams for completeness and correctness;
  • Ensure data is uploaded into AllVue correctly and timeously;
  • Trouble shoot upload errors;
  • Reconcile AllVue data to Client Services data;
  • Manage tasks in order to meet task deadlines;
  • Effectively communicate deadline issues with team management;
  • Assisting with any ad-hoc tasks that needs to be performed in AllVue (example – Reconciliations, settling transactions, generating GL entries etc.).


Skills / experience:

  • Bachelor / University Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance, Economics ideally with exposure to Information Technology;
  • Excellent handling of MS Office applications in particular MS Excel;
  • Fund accounting knowledge ideally in Private Equity, Real Estate and Debt;
  • At least 1 years of work experience in the field of Finance / Accounting, from Finance sector;
  • At least 1 years’ experience in accounting;
  • Experience in a fund administration system;
  • Excellent Communication Skills;
  • Strong team player;
  • Must be highly organized and detail / efficiency orientate;
  • Good understanding of operational controls framework.
