Cloud Platform Engineer
Job description
Role summary:
Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for maintaining Cloud/Servers environment and network infrastructure.
The individual would be working remotely and interacting with team and users abroad remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintenance and governance of AWS landing zones;
- Maintenance and governance of AWS Infrastructure as a code (IaC) running Terraform;
- Implementation of AWS best practices;
- AWS Services analysis and optimization;
- AWS Cost analysis;
- Solution design;
- Regular management reporting;
- Any other duties in the scope of the role that the company requires.
Requirements
Skills / experience required:
- Experience with Microsoft core Infrastructure Services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and other;
- Experience with Microsoft Server Platforms, Citrix and RDS;
- Understanding of core network protocols and security designs;
- Experience with Cloud platforms AWS/Azure/Office 365;
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services: EC2, FSX, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, ELB and other;
- Terraform/PowerShell/AWS CLI or similar scripting experience is an advantage;
- Must have good organization skills to balance and prioritize work and multitask;
- Proper ITIL change management and governance;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems;
- Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers;
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
