Accountant - Financial Oversight

Job description

Role summary:

The Accountant role will be part of our Financial Oversight division. Our team-oriented environment offers exposure to a variety of clients including financial service firms, family offices and high-net worth individuals.

This position will primarily support the Financial Oversight division which includes reporting for Family Offices and Management Companies to Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse general ledger account balances and prepare account reconciliations;
  • Prepare and distribute invoices, reconcile accounts receivable and assist with collections as needed;
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and research discrepancies;
  • Monitor cash balances and record adjustments to daily cash registers;
  • Record investment transactions and reconcile brokerage statements;
  • Process and record payroll;
  • Monitoring and recording daily cash activity;
  • Any other duties in the scope of the role that the company requires.


Skills / experience:

  • Approximately 2-3 years of accounting experience;
  • Proficiency using financial software;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Highly motivated with ability to multitask;
  • Strong Excel and data analytical skills.

Useful Information:
